The Art Centre was founded on 4 March 1969 under the pseudonym of 'Forma 20', a few years later, in 1975, it was officially named: "La Bitta" whose founding father was Maestro Carlo Speranza.

Bought in 1960 by the Chamber of Deputies, the complex houses some offices and is a cultural venue for exhibitions, concerts and congresses.
