A public place for sports and entertainment inside the Oppian Hill park, an “archaeological garden” surrounded by the remains of the Domus Aurea and of the bath of Trajan and rich of terraces from where it is possible to enjoy amazing close up views of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill.
The playground was set up in the area of the “Polveriera” or powder store (so called because ammunition was stored there in the 17th century) and includes two soccer fields, a basketball court and a skatepark for more and less experienced skaters. Entrance to the playground is completely free and the fields are available to everyone.
