The Circus Maximus hosts the legendary 'Wild Boys', arriving in Rome for two unmissable dates as part of their international tour.
After returning to the Sanremo stage 40 years later, frontman Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor perform in the evocative Roman archaeological site, presenting the unforgettable hits from their repertoire - such as Girls on Film, The Wild Boys, The Reflex, Ordinary World, Come Undone and Rio - and tracks from Danse Macabre, their 2023 studio album, re-released in a deluxe version in October 2024.
Founded in Birmingham in 1978, the iconic British band were brought into the limelight with the album Duran Duran (1981), achieving great success with Rio, released in 1982, until their decisive success with Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983) and the live album Arena (1984).
Eclectic, sophisticated and innovative, Duran Duran have created an extraordinary career with more than 100 million records sold, prestigious collaborations, gold, platinum and multi-platinum certifications, numerous awards - 2 Grammys, 2 Ivor Novello, 2 BRITs - a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and, from 2022, induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Interweaving music, fashion, design and technology, they have marked the pop music scene and culture, continuing to captivate audiences with their incredible creative spirit and boundless experimentation ability.
The two concerts at the Circus Maximus in Rome are organised by Vivo Concerti in collaboration with The Base and the Assessorato ai Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo e Moda di Roma Capitale.
