The project curated by Roma Capitale’s Assessorato alla Cultura to equip the city with new gathering places dedicated but not limited to young people continues: after the opening of the study hall in the 18th-century Palazzo Braschi and the Centro Euclide, just a short walk from the Cipro Metro A station and the Vatican, another space for reading, studying and sharing has been inaugurated in the city’s 1st City Hall.
The new study room, which opened at the end of April, is located within the structure that houses the Mercato Trionfale, one of the city’s largest and most historic district markets. In addition to 50 desk stations, there are 40 seats for meeting and reading together inside about 350 square meters, lit from three sides. For now, opening hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Aula Studio Trionfale was conceived as a complementary space to the historic and nearby Giordano Bruno Library, suitable for hosting meetings and cultural events as well, in order to expand cultural offerings and improve a public utility service.
