Venus in Music 2023

After the great success of the first edition, Venus in Music 2023 is back, the music festival conceived and curated by the Colosseum Archaeological Park with the artistic direction of Simone Prattico, internationally renowned jazz drummer.

Eight concerts in four musical evenings with free admission enliven the Temple of Venus and Rome, a splendid building built to a design by Emperor Hadrian in 135 AD, as well as one of the most fascinating and evocative sites of the PArCo, with a program inspired by the multi-ethnic reality that characterized already in ancient times this place, the heart of the city.

In fact, artists and musicians from different countries of the world alternate on stage: Votia from La Réunion, BGKO - Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orchestra from Spain, Renata Rosa from Brazil, Sandra Nkaké from France with her Cameroonian origins, La Chica from Venezuela, as well as some historical names of the Italian world scene such as Enzo Avitabile, Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare and Avion Travel.

The organization of the festival was made possible thanks to the support of important partners such as SIAE, Aeroporti di Roma and Grandi Stazioni.
