On 6 July, the great singer-songwriter returns to Rome for an unmissable concert at the Circus Maximus, as part of Io…Riccardo Cocciante nel 2026, the tour with which he will perform in some of Italy’s most evocative open-air venues.

Following the huge success of Io…Riccardo Cocciante, the iconic artist, who celebrates his 80th birthday this year, takes the audience on a new and exciting musical journey through the unforgettable songs of his repertoire.

Born in Saigon in 1946 to an Italian father and a French mother, Riccardo Cocciante achieved success in 1974 with the intense ‘Bella senz’anima’, performing songs such as ‘Margherita’, ‘Quando finisce un amore’, ‘Cervo a primavera’, ‘Celeste nostalgia’, ‘Per un amico in più’ and ‘Questione di feeling’.

A sensitive performer with a powerful, raspy voice, Riccardo Cocciante has released more than forty albums during his extraordinary career, including his latest 'Ho vent’anni con te', and is also the exceptional composer of some of the most successful musicals of recent years, such as Le petit prince, Giulietta e Romeo and Notre Dame de Paris, the popular opera most loved by audiences worldwide.
