Flautissimo 2023

Like every autumn, the appointment with Flautissimo the widespread festival, is back and this year it takes place between the Palladium Theater, the India Theater and the Lido Theater. Directed by Stefano Cioffi, the event was born as a classical music festival which, over the years, has opened up to the new languages ​​of contemporary entertainment, also becoming theatre, music and cross-disciplinary performances.

Now in its twenty-fifth edition, the festival includes two days dedicated to chamber music for flute with concerts with some of the most important international flautists such as Emmanuel Pahud, Silvia Careddu, Philippe Bernold, Mario Caroli, Denis Bouriakov, Julien Beaudiment, Riccardo Ghiani, Andrea Oliva, Matteo Evangelisti, Sara Tenaglia, Livia Duleba, Paolo Taballione and Silvia Viland as well as masterclasses and meetings.

This year too the event opens with the exceptional figure of Maria Paiato who on 29 October at the Palladium inaugurates the "Words, Theater & Music" section by bringing the play Gentleman at Sea by Herbert Clyde Lewis to the stage for the first time in Rome.
