De-Sidera et Dis-Astra 2024

De-Sidera et Dis-Astra 2024 is a multidisciplinary path created by the Fabrica Cultural Association, in which theater and music intertwine, harmonizing with myth and archaeology. The event, which takes place in various locations located within the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica, is free and open to everyone.

The event is divided into different moments of the day: in the morning theatrical workshops are held; the latter focus alternately on both the expressiveness of the language of the text and on the scenic/theatrical one and are aimed at different age groups of both adults, enthusiasts theater or non-professional actors and children aged 14 to 18.

In the afternoon instead, guided tours of the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica are organized by doctoral archaeologists, specialists in "Roman Archaeology", who have been involved in scientific dissemination for years.

Parallel to these activities, there are storytelling workshops ancient myths adapted for children aged 5 to 10: the stories are linked to the mythological figures told during the shows that conclude the days of events and are therefore preparatory to understanding them.

At the end of the activities, a gathering is planned in the designated place to attend the final event of the day, i.e. the music and literature show created by the artists of the collective of the Fabrica Cultural Association.

We remind you that the shows are taken from the Association's productions and are titled: Forms. Study for a Metamorphosis and Phenomena, a journey through music and original texts inspired by Ovid and Aratus of Soli dramaturgically divided into five chapters dedicated to the figures of Daphne, Pan, Minos, Arachne and the world of the stars. In each event the myth is told intertwined with musical legends from the history of humanity (Haendel, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, Mia Martini) transformed with original arrangements for four voices.
