SS. Gioacchino e Anna ai Monti

The actual reconstruction dates back to 1760 after a project by Francesco Fiori. The church was consecrated by Pope Pio VI Braschi in 1781. The façade presents an order of pilaster strips with Corinthian capitols amidst which four windows open up. In the middle there is a portal surmounted by a framed window. All of this is crowned by a triangular tympanum. The interior presents a Greek-cross plan thatis richly decorated with stuccos and cherubs’ faces. On the high altar there is a canvas with the paintings of the Madonna, S. Anna and S. Gioacchino.
