The Spazio Museo Vespa was created in 2013 out of the passion for two wheels and for the Vespa of Claudio Sarra, founder of Bici & Baci, a chain of bicycle and scooter rental shops.
In the Bici & Baci shop in Via Cavour 302, a stone's throw from the Imperial Forum and the Colosseum, Claudio Sarra wanted to create a space dedicated to the myth of the Vespa and the Lambretta. Going down a few steps, you suddenly find yourself in the past, in front of legendary Vespa models, known to the general public thanks to the films in which they were featured, first and foremost 'Vacanze Romane', which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2013.
The permanent exhibition of original models that have made the history of two-wheelers around the world is aimed at preserving and enhancing Italy's historical and cultural motoring heritage and bearing witness to the evolution of social life over time.
