San Giuda Taddeo ai Cessati Spiriti

The church was built in 1994-1996 to a design by architects Giuseppe Forti and Roberto Spaccasassi. On the occasion of the Jubilee of the year 2000, the diocese of Rome commissioned the artist Oliviero Rainaldi with some works for the Church of St. Jude Thaddeus:
the decoration of the apse basin with a composite work of mosaic and plaster bas-reliefs, depicting the passage from the book of Revelation chapters 7-9;
a high relief in plaster and brass, depicting the Last Supper;
a plaster bas-relief, depicting the Risen Christ, with a surface area of approximately 50 m²;
a plaster statue, depicting a Madonna and Child, 270 cm high.
Next to the altar is another statue depicting the apostle Judas Thaddeus holding a cloth with the face of Jesus imprinted on it;
On the choir loft on the counter façade is the pipe organ, built in 1950 by the Zarantonello company and installed in 2016 by Giuseppe Ponzani.
The church is a parish church, erected on 18 May 1960 by decree of Cardinal Vicar Clemente Micara Neminem sane, which changed its name to St Jude Thaddeus, Apostle in 2012.
