The MIFAV (Museum of Photographic Images and of Visual Arts) was opened in 1993 within the University of Tor Vergata and its archive constitutes Rome’s richest collection of works based on photographs realized by contemporary authors. Through the works of about 400 mainly Italian contemporary artists the linguistic evolution of “communicating by images” from the postwar period to our days is illustrated in its most significant facets. Furthermore the MIFAV is also making experiments on the electronic dissemination of images.Connections: Metro A - Anagnina + Bus 500
