Fontanella di Via Paolina

The fountain was designed by Marcelliano Mariano Ginesi and built in 1930. It consists of two pilasters resting on a base that frame the central composition. A frame above decorated with volutes encloses the coat of arms of the Municipality and a rather worn out lictor’s fasces and down below there is the head of a winged putto crowned by a swag. Water pours from the putto’s mouth into a rectangular pond with side volutes.
