Fontanella di Via di S. Vito

This small district fountain by P. Lombardi (1927) is placed in the surroundings of the Arch of Gallienus, the ancient Porta Esquilina in the Servian Walls. It consists of four travertine mountains one on top of the other decorated with stars. The design alludes to the coat of arms of the Monti (Mountains) district.
