Founded in 1927 as a periodical exhibition has become in the following years a public body and then a Foundation shared by the Ministry for Cultural and Heritage and the Municipality of Rome. It conserves the historical archive of different editions of the Quadrennial and more than 13,000 files of artists of the 20th century.
