Chiesa Santa Chiara

Descrizione: S. CHIARA In 1592S. Carlo Borromeo ordered the construction of a monastery  andmonastery and a  churcha church next toeach other, dedicated to S. Chiara. The entire complex was restored in 1627. SuccessivelyLater on, in1855, the church was abandoned and later purchased by the congregation of theHoly Spirit between 1883 and 1890. Thefacade, terminated completed in1888 following thebased on a project of by Luca Carimini in 1888, has twoparts. In the first there The first one embodiesisa lunette on top of the portal; the second one presents , andin the second seven windows with the marblebusts of the saints. It is framed by a triangular gable. Theinterior has a single nave and has no outstanding decorations or works. Thealtarpiece represents the “Sacra Famiglia” by Virginio Monti.
