First settlement in the area in 1969; the parish of reference is S. Pier Damiani until October 27, 1985. From 1977 to September 1981 the Holy Mass is celebrated in private places. In 1978, Don Luigi Di Liegro arrives and at his request in 1979 the Sisters of Caritas Socialis, with the latter the collaboration, in the same year, with the German College that ends at the end of 2000. In 1979 a factory is purchased in via Albi, by the Vicariate in collaboration with the Rector of the German College. On October 10, 1981 the Church, S. Maria del Ponte and S. Giuseppe is built; in 1980 Sister Maria Grazia founds and entrusts to Mrs. Lakmee Pabis as director the babyoratory at the premises in via Albi, a service for young families that is still very active; on October 28, 1985 the Parish is erected. From 1985 to August 1995, Don Luigi Di Liegro became Administrator of the parish, assisted by the first Deacon of Rome, Tullio Maiorino, who served from 1982 to 1995 (the date of his death). Don Luigi Di Liegro, the Heart of the community, died on October 16, 1997. First Parish Priest of the community from September 1995 to August 2013, Don Paolo Gaetani, collaborator of the new parish priest Don Vincenzo Moccia since September 2013.
