Chiesa di San Giuseppe a Via Nomentana

It was built to a design by Carlo Maria Busiri Vici between 1904 and 1905 in neo-Romanesque style, and solemnly consecrated on 12 October 1905 by Cardinal Pietro Respighi. The façade is in bare brick and has a three-arched portico and a rose window; inserted in the façade is a mosaic with the coats of arms of Pius X and the Lateran Canons. The three-nave interior has an apse decorated in Cosmatesque style by Eugenio Cisterna, with a statue of St Joseph by Francesco Nagni
The church is a parish church, established on 6 January 1905 by Pius X with the bull Romanae aequabilius and entrusted to the Canons Regular of the Holy Saviour Lateranense.
On 24 April 1930, the marriage between Edda Mussolini and Galeazzo Ciano was solemnly celebrated here, with Prince Torlonia and Secretary of State Dino Grandi as witnesses.
