Casale dei Cedrati

The Casale dei Cedrati at Villa Pamphilj reopens its doors. An extraordinary space that has been returned to citizens thanks to the 2013 call for bids promoted by Roma Capitale - Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, won by A.T.I. CoopCulture - Linea d'Arte, now transformed into Società Consortile Casale dei Cedrati. This is a participatory project involving a number of players and a group of women entrepreneurs from the Monteverde community.
Resting on the structures of the ancient Trajan-Paul Aqueduct and surrounded by Gabriele Valvassori's Cedrati Garden, the Casale dei Cedrati, after renovation, hosts a wide and varied range of activities aimed at all age groups and implemented through networking with many associations in the area.
Guided tours, workshops, exhibitions, meetings, conferences, sporting events, major events and music concerts, all hosted in spaces dedicated to study and play, served by a cafeteria and bookshop, in line with the offer and the quality of reception of the great European parks with, in addition, that "green" thread of environmental education, garden culture and urban greenery that ideally wants to give continuity, reinterpreting it in a contemporary key, the ancient agricultural vocation of the Casale.
