Originally it was the coach house of the Marchesi Cavalcabò, then the Osteria and since 1969 it has been converted into a wine shop. It was the first wine shop in Rome to serve a certain level of wine by the glass, including the famous Picolit. Since 1980, after the death of Domenico Buccone, his wife Maddalena has expanded the selection to include food specialities, pasta, honey and jams.
Since 1997, together with his sons Vincenzo and Francesco, the wine shop has been offering a restaurant service every day for lunch and on Fridays and Saturdays also for dinner.
