The library of the IAI, which was established in 1965 with the very creation of the Institute, is by now a qualified point of reference for Italian experts and scholars of international issues. It currently has more than 27,000 volumes, including the years of the approximately 500 periodicals that have ceased and the 55 periodicals in progress. The annual growth is around 350 new accessions. The automated bibliographic base has more than 23,000 records.
