Descrizione: SAN SALVATORE ALLE MILIZIE At the end of C.XIX, in a room located on the Salita del Grillo, one founds some paintings that, should the interpretation of their time be correct, would tie this place to San Clementes cycle and that of the Oratorio dei Sette Dormienti. The figures represented in the paintings, in fact, with the few remainings left, would relate to Beno de Rapiza and his wife, or better the same purchasers of the two other places. All of this thus leads to make also this church date back to the second half of C. XI. Its first mention nonetheless relates to 1192 while the date for its abolition is 1577, year in which it was united to the close SS. Quirico e Giulitta. It was definitely built on buildings from C.I-III and medieval testimonies draw it with two naves, three columns and a bell tower.
