Più libri più liberi is the first Italian fair dedicated exclusively to independent publishing. It was born in December 2002 from an idea of the Gruppo Piccoli Editori dell’Associazione Italiana Editori to give visibility to the most significant possible number of little publishing houses. It is a space to illustrate their production, often obscured by larger enterprises.

Più libri più liberi is a five days happening with a rich cultural program to meet authors, attend readings and musical performances, and listen to debates in a succession of events for all tastes and ages at La Nuvola, Rome's most innovative congress center designed by the arch star Massimiliano Fuksas.
