The Forum Studios, historic and impressive recording studios, were founded in Rome in 1970 by Maestros Ennio Morricone, Luis Bacalov, Armando Trovajoli and Piero Piccioni.
During their more than fifty years of activity, Forum Studios have been involved in the creation of some of the most important soundtracks in the history of cinema and Oscar Awards such as 'Nuovo Cinema Paradiso' (E. Morricone and A. Morricone), 'The Hateful Eight' (E. Morricone), 'Life is Beautiful' (N. Piovani), 'Il Postino' (L. Bacalov), and masterpieces such as 'The Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean' and 'Once Upon a Time in America' by Ennio Morricone.
The studios have also hosted great artists from all over the world, such as Quincy Jones, Leonard Bernstein, Placido Domingo, Morrissey, Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, Charles Aznavour, Laura Pausini, Will.I.Am, Kanye West, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruce Springsteen, Yo-Yo Ma, Jon Bon Jovi, 2Cellos, Lang Lang, Cher, Gino Vannelli, Pino Daniele, Zucchero 'Sugar' Fornaciari, Tiziano Ferro and others.
Over the years, productions have focused on live events, collaborating with institutions and important intgernational commercial entities, operating in renowned venues such as the Colosseum and the Verona Arena.
Since 2010, the Forum Studios have also been the headquarters of the Orchestra Italiana del Cinema: the first Italian symphony orchestra dedicated to film music.
Together with the Orchestra, the Studios have brought masterpieces such as Harry Potter, The Gladiator (in a historic evening at the Colosseum), Titanic, and The Artist (in a world premiere at the Ravello Festival), Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, 007 Skyfall, Bugs Bunny at The Symphony, and many others to stages all over the world in Cine-Concerto.
