Two of the most imposing figures of the English literature of the early 19th century, who were spellbound by the Eternal City: among the initiatives organized to celebrate the bicentenary of the deaths of the Romantic poets John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley, falling respectively in 2021 and 2022, there is a special one dedicated to taste.
Babingtons and Keats-Shelley House, two historic British institutions in the heart of Rome, are teaming up to bring tea-lovers a unique and tasty experience. The best of Babingtons tea accompanied by hot buttererd scones and finger sandwiches, to be enjoyed while admiring the wonderful view over the Spanish Steps and Trinità dei Monti from the exclusive terrace of the Keats-Shelley House, the house-museum that was the final dwelling place of John Keats.
