The Felice aqueduct owes its name to Pope Sixtus V - Felice Peretti - who built it in the 16th century and runs along a path that, from Via Prenestina, arrives at the fountain of Moses.
Designed for the water supply of the Viminale and Quirinale areas, the aqueduct was built on a project by the architect Matteo Bortolani. Subsequently, the work was completed by the architect Giovanni Fontana who was also the author of the Fountain of Moses.
