Istituto Centrale per il Restauro

Founded in 1939 by art historian Cesare Brandi, its aim is to carry out scientific researches on what deteriorates the materials of the National artistic and architectural heritage by developing techniques and methods of restoration. It offers 4-year courses to obtain a diploma of restorer of cultural heritage.
