Walk of life

The Walk of Life, the sporting event organized by Fondazione Telethon and Run Rome The Marathon, returns on September 27th. It unites not only participants, but also families and communities to support research into rare genetic diseases. This year, the Walk of Life takes place also in Rome, at Park of the Aqueducts..

The Walk of Life is a solidarity race and walk founded in 2012 where the most important goal is not the clock, but the opportunity to build a better future. Every year in various cities across Italy, many participate in this sporting event to bring a message of hope to those who refuse to give up on a rare genetic disease. The more we participate, the faster research can reach the goal of a cure.

The event consists of two races: a competitive and a non-competitive 9.9 km race starting at 9:00 am, and also includes a 3 km walk open to all starting at 11:30 am.

Furthermore, starting Saturday, September 26th, the Telethon Foundation Village will be set up inside the Park of the Aqueducts (entrance on via Lemonia), offering various activities and entertainment.
