For one week, Rome becomes a city-wide laboratory for ideas, innovation and debate. This is the vision behind Rome Future Week®, a city-wide festival that brings together businesses, start-ups, associations, universities, schools, institutions, cultural organisations and communities.
Events take place across numerous venues throughout the city and the surrounding area, creating a network of encounters, experiences and opportunities for discussion focused on Rome’s future. Conceived, organised and promoted by SCAI Comunicazione Srl Società Benefit, Rome Future Week® puts the exchange of skills and perspectives at its heart, with a particular focus on diversity and gender representation.
The future also depends on the choices we make today. That is why the festival supports initiatives focused on social impact, sustainable mobility, education and the environment. Over the past three years, more than 1,000 Future Explorers have taken part in programmes designed for younger generations. Support for the non-profit sector also strengthens the connection between innovation, culture and civic participation.
Sustainability is another key part of the project. Rome Future Week® promotes more responsible approaches to event organisation, with a focus on sustainable mobility and reducing the environmental impact of events. The aim is to make every event an opportunity to explore solutions that are more respectful of the city and its surroundings.
The numbers reflect the growth of the community: 974 events, more than 75,000 participants, 250 ambassadors and 1,000 organisers over three years.
