An exceptional encounter between poetry and Neapolitan music on the stage of the Casa del Jazz. As part of the Summertime 2026 festival, Peppe Servillo and the Solis String Quartet presents their latest orchestral project, created in collaboration with the Medit Orchestra conducted by Angelo Valori.
The concert is a symphonic reinterpretation of tracks from the albums “Spassiunatamente,” “Presentimento,” and “Carosonamente”. These are the result of a decade-long artistic partnership between Peppe Servillo – one of the most expressive, elegant, and theatrical voices on the Italian scene – and the Solis String Quartet, a string quartet of extraordinary refinement that has been active on the international scene for over thirty years.
The orchestration was carried out by Angelo Valori based on the original arrangements created by Antonio Di Francia for the Solis String Quartet. It aims to amplify the emotional and melodic nuances of a repertoire that blends tradition and modernity, drawing on the great Neapolitan tradition and revealing the full vitality and depth of Neapolitan singer-songwriter music, from 19th-century classics to Carosone, right through to the most intimate and contemporary pieces.
