18 January 2026 – Third Eco-Friendly Sunday
18 January is the third Eco-Friendly Sunday of the 2025–2026 winter season, the first of 2026.
Farmers' markets are the star attraction on a day dedicated to agriculture and its strong links with environmental sustainability, the circular economy, high-quality local and short supply-chain production, food education, and solidarity projects.
In five city squares – Piazza dei Re di Roma, Piazza della Balduina, Largo Agosta, Piazza di Santa Maria Liberatrice and Piazza Farnese – from 9.30 am to 6 pm, visitors will find institutional stands and local farming businesses, along with meetings with biologists and nutritionists, workshops for children, and tasting sessions.
The stands and events are organised and animated by CIA – Agricoltori Italiani, Confagricoltura in collaboration with ITA Garibaldi, Coldiretti, Slow Food and ITA Sereni. Thanks to a protocol signed between the Assessorato and ENPAB (Ente Nazionale Previdenza Assistenza Biologi), biologists and nutritionists will be available at the institutional stand to provide citizens with valuable advice on healthy and balanced eating.
