The museum has an exceptional collection of carriages and harnesses, exhibited in the Permanent Exhibition in a center that overlooks the Via Ardeatina, an area of high artistic, archaeological and religious value.
The important exhibition, included among the Regional Museums and sponsored by the Public Authorities, includes the collection of more than 300 specimens (of which about 160 are exhibited in the museum and others kept in an adjoining room) and intends to bring to the attention of the public a series of period carriages and typical wagons, the result of 40 years of thorough and passionate research.
The collection is completed by an infinite number of saddles, harnesses and harnesses. All examples are carefully preserved, are among other things, beautiful exhibition: paintings on the theme, models of carriages, precious porcelain, objects, armor, helmets, capes, weapons, antique equipment, many old toys, agricultural equipment, accessories and peculiarities.
The carriages, from various eras, from different countries and intended for all types of use are located in a space of 3,000 square meters, which allows a rational vision of the whole.
