Smartwings, the largest private airline in the Czech Republic, represented in Italy by Spazio Srl and already operating in over 300 airports worldwide, has announced its return to Rome with a new route connecting Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino with Prague, thus further strengthening the company’s presence in the Italian market.
The direct connection between the Italian and Czech capitals represents a new opportunity for leisure, cultural and business travel between two of Europe's most popular and visited cities, and is therefore a strategic choice for outgoing and incoming traffic. The flight will operate four times a week starting at the end of October and is part of the airline’s winter expansion plan, which includes the addition of several important new European routes from Prague, including Barcelona, Brussels and Porto.
Tickets are already on sale through all channels, from the official Smartwings website to travel agencies. The “LITE” fare includes free hand luggage.
