The Chamber Music Season of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, celebrates the return, after just over two years, of the exceptionally talented Lang Lang. With a captivating program ranging from Mozart's brilliant and famous Rondo K485 to the Mediterranean atmospheres of Albéniz and Granados, concluding with two celebrated Beethoven sonatas, the Pathétique and the Sonata Op. 110, the penultimate of Beethoven's oeuvre, the bicentenary of whose death occurs in 2027.

The Chinese pianist Lang Lang, born in 1982, began piano lessons at the age of three and gave his first public recital at five. He has performed with leading orchestras around the world and graced the stages of many important concert halls, becoming a star with millions of records sold. He is considered a charismatic virtuoso, much loved by audiences of all ages, thanks to his collaborations with diverse musical genres and artists such as Metallica, John Legend, Pharrell Williams, and jazz legend Herbie Hancock.
