The Night of Museums in Rome 2025 was an unprecedented success: over 78,000 attendees were registered and there was widespread enthusiasm among participants, leaving behind a great public success and a continuously growing attendance trend compared to past editions: approximately 2,000 more attendees than in 2024 (76 thousand attendees) and 5,000 more than in 2023 (73 thousand).
In fact, since the early hours of the evening, visitors, despite the threat of rain, have reached the over 60 museums and cultural sites open during the night (from 8pm to 2am) to attend, at the symbolic cost of €1 (or with another discounted rate), the many moments of entertainment on the programme.
Great result for the Civic Museums of Rome Capital which recorded a total of approximately 50,000 visitors. Among these, it is worth mentioning the significant numbers of the Capitoline Museums and the Museum of Rome at Palazzo Braschi (approximately 7,000 visitors), the Trajan's Markets - Museum of the Imperial Forums (approximately 5,000 visitors) and the Ara Pacis Museum (approximately 3,000 admissions).
The special guest of this fifteenth edition, the Spanish dancer Sergio Bernal, performed at the Ara Pacis Museum, enchanting the audience with a performance of rare intensity. His body, in symbiosis with the voice of the singer Paz de Manuel, created a special union with the monument, transferring this evident energy and the message of peace to the many people who attended the PAX show, created by Daniele Cipriani Entertainment. A unique moment to which those present responded with such high participation that it convinced the artist to perform an extraordinary replica of his performance.
But the evening experienced many other significant moments. Not only in the Civic Museums but also in the other cultural spaces of the city that joined the initiative and were reached with equal enthusiasm. Proof of this enthusiasm are, here too, the attendance figures recorded by some of the most significant places of the city's cultural life such as the Polo Museale della Sapienza Università di Roma with over 7,000 attendees and the Palazzo Esposizioni Roma, reached by approximately 2,500 people.
