Stefano Bollani Quintet

The famous jazz and classical pianist returns to the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone with a special concert as part of Summertime 2025, the Casa del Jazz summer festival produced by Fondazione Musica per Roma.

The brilliant musician, composer, writer, conductor and actor presents Stefano Bollani Quintet, a completely new project: on the stage of the Cavea, five artists, each with their style, language and exceptional musical careers, perform an exclusive repertoire, specially conceived for this extraordinary synergy of talents. The union of the multifaceted Stefano Bollani on piano, the versatility of Jeff Ballard on drums, Larry Grenadier - one of the greatest bassists of contemporary jazz - on bass, the innovator Vincent Peirani on accordion and the eclectic Mauro Refosco on percussion give life to a unique experience that combines talent, experimentation and emotion.

After graduating in piano at the Conservatory of Florence, Bollani established himself in the jazz world, playing on the world's most famous stages, performing with prestigious symphony orchestras and collaborating with artists such as Pat Metheny, Gato Barbieri, Richard Galliano, Sol Gabetta, Phil Woods, Luis Bacalov, Lee Konitz, Bill Frisell, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso and Chick Corea.
Honoured as Commendatore dell'Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana (Order of Merit of the Italian Republic) since 2016, the musician boasts an extraordinary career that has earned him numerous prizes and awards, including a Carosone Prize, a European Jazz Prize, a Nastro d'argento, the Premio Tenco for Lifetime Achievement and the Los Angeles Excellence Award for Italian culture in the world.
