After the great international success with over 6 million visitors worldwide, the Balloon Museum returns to Rome in the spaces of La Nuvola with Euphoяia - Art is in the Air, the world premiere exhibition presenting 20 monumental and interactive works dedicated to the expression of this emotion through art.
Euphoяia - Art is in the Air invites us to reflect on the transformative power of art by celebrating the lightness, interaction and communicative power of Inflatable art. The works become veritable containers of interaction, spectacle and discovery, and clothe the inflatable and its related declinations or interpretations in the unprecedented light of visual art.
The artists on show include Carsten Höller, Philippe Parreno, Martin Creed, Marta Minujín, Hyperstudio, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Ryan Gander, A.A.Murakami, Karina Smigla-Bobinski, Cyril Lancelin, Alex Schweder, Quiet Ensemble, SpY, Nils Völker, Camille Walala and Sun Yitian.
The Balloon Museum is a unique touring contemporary art project that focuses on the visitor and his/her experience with the most authentic and purest elements of childhood transformed for the occasion into powerful means of expression as a creative response to the changing international social and cultural landscape.
