Alice nella città 2024

Produced with the contribution of Roma Capitale - Assessorato alla Cultura-Dipartimento Attività Culturali, Alice nella Città is the autonomous and parallel section of the Rome Film Festival dedicated to young people, to the discovery of talent and to debutants.

The program of the 12th edition of the festival includes world premieres, first works and original confirmations: 14 films in the international competition, 8 of which directed by female directors, 6 films out of competition and 9 special screenings, plus, in the competitive section Panorama Italia, films and special screenings that focus on independent Italian cinema and the films and shorts of the Sintonie selection, conceived in collaboration with the Venice International Film Festival.

Once again this year Alice nella città will pay tribute to the great masters of Italian and international cinema, with the special event dedicated to Francis Ford Coppola together with the Festa del Cinema and the Via Condotti Award, given every year “to someone who, not a Roman, loves Rome”, awarded to Ferzan Ozpetek. The program also includes the most eagerly awaited TV series (Adorazione, La legge di Lidia Poët, Never Too Late, Nudes and the second season of The Bad Guy), the Womenlands meetings dedicated to Italian and international female excellence, and the second edition of Short Film Days, an industry event dedicated to the main players in the short film industry, from this year in collaboration with the MIA, at Palazzo delle Esposizioni.
