The great sports event promoting awareness and information on heart health and cardiovascular prevention is back in its eighth edition.
Created in 2013, CardioRace is organised by DreamCom with the Scientific Direction of the INRC, National Institute for Cardiovascular Research, and the technical support of ACSI Italia Atletica.
This year, the event features a new route: a competitive and non-competitive running race over distances of 10 km and 15 km, a 5 km non-competitive run and walk, and a 1 km Kids run for children.
The exciting appointment takes place at the historical Hippodrome Roma Capannelle, the extraordinary facility founded in 1881 and considered the first hippodrome in Italy, covering approximately 140 hectares.
Sport, health and wellness: during the event, the Villaggio del Cuore hosts many initiatives with medical and thematic areas where you can receive free preventive tests for cardiovascular diseases and more, discover the benefits of plantar reflexology, take part in the many activities dedicated to fitness and a healthy lifestyle, and, for the first time, bring your pets along for a cardiological check-up and blood pressure measurement.
