A new vaccination hub for Italian and foreign travelers, departing, arriving, in transit, and airport operators inaugurated a few days ago inside Terminal 3 at Leonardo da Vinci airport.
Therefore, Fiumicino airport is the first airport in Italy with a quick vaccination point inside the terminal. On 11 February inaugurated a health hub where 250 thousand people got the vaccine shot.
The area, of about 150 square meters, is located next to the pharmacy at the departures of Terminal 3. It is active seven days a week from 8.00 to 20.00. The vaccines available to healthcare professionals are mRNA Pfizer and Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, a single-dose viral vector.
The doses currently administrable are about 140 per day. Over the next few weeks, the quantities may increase.
