From 5 January, the winter sales season officially kicks off in Rome and Lazio Region. It is the most eagerly awaited appointment for all shopping lovers, who have the opportunity, for six weeks, until 15 February, to make purchases to look for bargains and make purchases in a unique setting of historical and artistic beauty.
Strolling through the shopping streets of Rome is pure pleasure, so you have plenty of choices: clothing, footwear, and accessories often take the lion's share of the wish list, but there is also space for sporting goods, cosmetics, perfumes, furnishings and design accessories.
The undisputed shopping protagonist is the historic centre, where you can find the most exclusive brands and fashionable shops, and the streets around Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori, but also Via Nazionale and Rione Monti, Via Cola di Rienzo and Via Appia. Discounted prices and offers are also available in malls and outlets outside the city.
As always, pay attention to the basic rules: merchants must display the starting sale price, the discount percentage applied and the final price. Furthermore, the prohibition of promotional sales during the 30 days before the sales start date remains unchanged.
