Record numbers for Roma Capitale's museums, events and tourism websites

The year 2024 closed with extraordinary numbers for the websites of the museum, cultural and tourist system of Roma Capitale, managed by Zètema Progetto Cultura. The data confirmed a significant growth of millions of hits, testifying to the growing interest of the public in the city's cultural and tourist offer.

Record numbers in the Jubilee year for our portal, which stands out with a 49% increase over 2023, reaching 7.1 million visits and 14 million page views (+81%). The Roma Live page is the most consulted, confirming the interest in the city's events and attractions.

The Musei in Comune network and the Capitoline Museums portal mark a 31% increase compared to 2023, exceeding a total of 6 million visits. In particular, the Capitoline Museums set a historical record, with over 1 million web visits (+16%) and more than 3 million page views. The portal of the Sovrintendenza Capitolina also achieved significant results, with about 970,000 visits and a total of over 11.5 million page views.

The culture.roma.it website, the reference point for events promoted by the Dipartimento Cultura, recorded a 26% increase over the previous year, exceeding 748,000 visits and totalling 1.48 million page views. This result confirms the effectiveness of digital communication strategies to enhance the city's cultural offer.

Romapass.it, the tourist city card portal, also grew, with a 5% increase.

These extraordinary results highlight the strategic role of online platforms in the promotion of the city and the enhancement of its cultural and tourist heritage, which attracts an increasingly wide and diversified audience, confirming the effectiveness of targeted and innovative digital tools. The continuous growth in access, also favoured by the integration of new content and targeted campaigns, consolidates Rome as one of the most popular cultural and tourist destinations in the world.
