It is one of Rome’s most beautiful and famous parks, a green oasis in the heart of the city, rich in history, art and culture, offering endless opportunities for Romans and tourists alike to have fun and relax. Even the youngest, thanks to the newly opened space where children can run and play safely.
In Villa Borghese, the play area close to Viale Goethe and Porta Pinciana has in fact been expanded and equipped with new games: spring games, a large dragonfly, a small wall with ropes for would-be climbers, as well as, of course, slides and swings also for children with disabilities.
The redevelopment of the new area is part of the investment program promoted by Roma Capitale to make spaces dedicated to children larger and more inclusive. In addition to the interventions already carried out, 15 more are planned by the end of the year in new parks and neighborhoods around the city.
