The Laura Biagiotti brand, one of the historical names of the Made in Italy fashion, renews its special bond with Rome by choosing it as the international stage to present the 2021 spring summer collection. The event, which marks the return to live catwalk shows after the lockdown, will have an innovative format blending digital and physical components, in compliance with current safety guidelines.
The show is scheduled for Sunday 13 September, ahead of Italy’s fashion week kicking off on 22 September, and it will take place on the Capitoline Hill, one of landmark locations the company has helped restore by contributing to renovation works of the sloping road designed by Michelangelo Buonarroti.
The event, announced with a series of posts on the Biagiotti Group’s Instagram profile, will pay homage to the city where the brand’s late namesake designer and her daughter Lavinia Biagiotti Cigna, president and CEO of the Group, have lived and worked throughout their careers. A tribute to Rome and to the creative force of fashion, a “Roman renaissance” made of beauty, pride in one’s own roots and a focus on the future.
