
On July 14, the ceremony for the International Golden Colosseum Award 5.0 took place in the Sala Alessandrina on Lungotevere in Sassia. This award, one of the most significant and prestigious, celebrates Italian and international excellence in the fields of culture, art, entrepreneurship, the professions, and social commitment.
During the ceremony, numerous prominent professionals and figures from different fields were honoured: the writer and poet Maurizio Bavassano, the Professor Mauro Berta, dermatologist and infectious disease specialist, Gianmaria Cappi, former president of the Food Bank, the Commissioner Carlo Capria, expert in economic planning and internationalization, Maurice Cereghini Institute Srl, recognized for international excellence, Maestro Roberto Cetoli, pianist and producer, Maestro Cristoforo De Vivo, writer and poet, Maestro Enzo Ferrari, musician and opera singer-songwriter, Maestro Massimo Galfano, singer-songwriter and record producer, the musical group Ganga Sisters, the entrepreneur and business manager Endo Giarin, the entrepreneur of Italian agri-food excellence Alfredo Iemma, and the Professor Lino Roberto, cardiac surgeon. A deeply moving moment was also dedicated to the awarding of the Prize in memory of the comedian Alvaro Vitali.
The 2026 edition of the Award thus celebrated personalities and businesses who, with their talent, commitment, and passion, contribute to the cultural, professional, and social growth of the country.
