The major American aviation giant American Airlines has announced non-stop flights resumption between the "Big Apple" and the Italian capital starting next 5 April.
The connections on the route will be operated daily, seven days a week, on Boeing 777-200 (ER), the aircraft dedicated to long-haul, with a capacity of 273 passengers, among the most technologically advanced in the world.
The departures from the US city are scheduled in the afternoon, with a comfortable night flight, arrival early in the morning and a whole day in the Eternal City.
The non-stop air connections resumption between John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and Leonardo da Vinci in Fiumicino, available until the end of October, joins the reactivation of direct flights between Chicago and Rome starting from 13 April.
