Wonderboys

Roma City Ballet Company, under the artistic direction of Luciano Cannito, presents an all-male performance at the Teatro Vittoria that challenges gender boundaries and breaks all stereotypes, demonstrating that dance is an art without limits.

With choreography by Fabrizio Prolli, nine young dancers with strong, distinct and extremely different personalities offer the audience a powerful and fascinating performance that combines different styles and techniques, and in which every movement, every gesture, every step is performed with unparalleled precision and passion. Moving across the stage in modern, contemporary, urban and acrobatic styles, the dancers enchant the audience and bring to life an explosive and surprising pop show that celebrates energy and freedom in all its forms.

With stirring music, familiar yet mystical and evocative, and bodies that convey emotions through the universal language of dance, “Wonderboys” is a hymn to freedom: freedom to be, to love, to laugh and cry, to be great even when we are still children, and to always be children even when we grow up.
