An unmissable occasion for families, music lovers and all those who wish to welcome in the New Year under the banner of culture and entertainment: Rome prepares to host the new edition of the Rome Parade on New Year's Eve, which on 1 January 2025 will see some of the best marching bands, cheerleaders and folk bands parade through the heart of Rome, between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna.
A well-established tradition that brings to Rome, directly from the United States and different parts of Italy, an incredible variety of musical and artistic groups, making the city even more lively and colourful for the New Year's Eve celebrations.
Among the American groups already confirmed for this year's edition are the Detroit Catholic Central High School, led by Logan Bonathan; the Hamilton High School Charger Marching Band from Sussex, Wisconsin, under the direction of Jon Waite; the Parkview Marching Band, from Lilburn, Georgia, under the direction of Carlos Franco: the Cotton Candies Marching Krewe from Huntsville, Alabama, who will featured their unique combination of female empowerment and choreography in pink costumes and white boots; the Heritage High School Incomparable Marching Storm, from Newport News, Virginia; the Varsity Spirit All-American Dancers, Cheerleaders & Drum Majors, who will bring the enthusiasm and tradition of American cheerleading to Italy.
