On 28 September 2026, the ‘Pizza Oscars’ return to Rome, at Spazio Novecento in the EUR district, for an unmissable fifth edition under the new name of Pizza Maxima, following the extraordinary success of the 2025 Pizza Awards.
Among the most prestigious awards dedicated to one of the musts of Italian gastronomy, Pizza Maxima selects 150 pizzerias which, over the past year, have distinguished themselves for their products, the quality of their offerings, innovation and care, as well as 20 of Italy’s best professional pizza chefs.
The event, whose awards are presented by a jury of 200 influential representatives from the specialist press, also offers an opportunity to discover the latest trends and developments in an increasingly dynamic sector.
The programme includes the usual appointments with the Pizza Conference, now in its second edition, the Pizza Maxima 2026 awards ceremony and the Pizza Dinner, for a day dedicated to signature pizzas, featuring live cooking shows by the leading figures in the art of pizza-making, tastings and gastronomic experiences.
