Pigneto Film Festival is back in its third edition, focusing as usual on the eclectic Roman neighbourhood and the creations of five young filmmakers from all over the world.
144 hours to imagine and create an audiovisual product, 6 days of shooting to edit and produce a film, transforming the Pigneto into an open-air movie set.
The festival includes a rich program of events, such as the Roman preview of Seawatch 3, in the presence of director Nadia Kailouli, Giorgia Linardi - Spokesperson of SEA-WATCH Italia - the journalist Eleonora Camilli, and the collaboration with Mujeres nel Cinema, born to support women's cinema in all its forms.
Sustainability in cinema and Premio Legambiente (Legambiente Award) for green short films are also protagonists: the filmmakers adopt Green Shooting solutions, supervised by AzzeroCO2 and under the precious advice of Adele Dell'Erario and Katrin Richnhofer of the Castello Errante, which has been implementing and spreading eco-sustainable productions.
All shows are free with reservations required. Admission is limited, and safety measures and interpersonal distancing in a public place are respected.
The project is the winner of ESTATE ROMANA 2020-2021-2022 Public Notice and is part of ROMARAMA 2020, the cultural program promoted by Roma Capitale.
